Carved African Mask

Item Details

An African mask carved from ebony wood. It features an elongated oval face with cut out eyes, a stitched mouth, and a finial under the chin. There are gold painted beaded accents throughout with an integrated loop to the forehead and an embossed headpiece. There is a cut out hole to each side; item is unmarked.

Condition

Light wear to wood, consistent with age and use. There are velcro tabs to the verso as well as a fabric loop for hanging.
