Item Details

An antique mahogany bookcase by Henshaw’s of Cincinnati. The case features a molded cornice above a pair of glazed doors opening to a divided and electrified interior with four adjustable shelves. The doors are flanked by outset colonettes with carved bulbs and fluted shafts. The bookcase rises on stylized ball-and-claw front feet ending in casters. The back retains is stamped ‘284’ and it retains a partial label for ’Henshaw’s / Furniture & Mattress / Makers / Wholesale & Retail / …7 To 1027 Elm St. / Cincinnati, Ohio’.
