Antique "1889 Conestoga" Pot Belly Stove
Item Details
This iron potbelly stove was made by Atlanta Stove Works. It has the name ‘Atlanta Stove Works’ in relief on the door to the ash pit clean out on the front, and ‘1889 Conestoga’ on the back. The stove vents off the top from a 7 1/2 inch oval flue. ‘No 40’ is in relief on the door on the middle front where the wood or coal would go. Great character and function.Very collectable as the Atlanta Stove Works Company closed in 1988, after 100 years. The milk can, while rusty, has great character.
Condition
Rust on iron adds to the charm of this old stove.
