East Asian Hand-Painted Porcelain Items
Item Details
A collection of five east Asian hand-painted porcelain home decor items. Included is a Chinese lidded urn decorated with ‘double-happiness’ symbols surrounded by dragons and phoenixes, representative of the complementary of yang and_yin_. The underside is marked with a Qianlong reign mark, however, the urn was produced in the 20th century. Also included is a Japanese Imari style vase marked with a ‘San Francisco, Japan, Fred Roberts Company’ label, a Chinese vase decorated with a fruiting plant marked ‘Liling China’, a Japanese Imari-style squared vase, and a small Chinese bowl.
