A signed original oil painting on board by American artist Emilie Atlee (1915-2013) titled Grand Tetons. A frenetic array of earth tones are captured in this dynamic abstract oil mountainscape painting. Small human figures stand at the lower left corner of the painting to show scale. The painting is signed by the artist to the lower right and is presented unframed. A Pennsylvania artist, Atlee taught at the Main Line Center of the Arts in Haverford, Pennsylvania, as well as at Bryn Mawr College. Atlee was also a member of the Philadelphia Watercolor Society.
