Hand Knotted Persian Area Rugs
Item Details
A pair of hand knotted Persian area rugs. The smallest rugs depicts the black outline of a Shahsavan peacock on a gray and orange crenelated cream colored medallion. The field is bordered by a small gray geometric border and an orange and gray saw tooth border. The largest rug displays a tan camel set on an orange diamond, flanked by geometric vines. The field is surrounded by a double sawtooth border in orange, brown, and cream. Each rug has wool warp fringe with overcast edges, and they are unmarked.
