Item Details

A framed watercolor by 19th Century Italian artist Eduard Vitali. This piece depicts a monk sitting on a wooden bench and washing a pan as he sits quietly by the fire, gazing down at a pair of rabbits. It is signed ‘E.Vitali’ to the lower right corner and set in a white and gray mat. The piece presents behind glass in a simplistic wood frame with a wire on the verso for mounting.

Condition

There appears to be a small tear to the painting; the backing paper on the frame is torn in a few areas.
