Framed Sculpture in Silver After Salvador Dalí "Homage to Philosophy"

A silver sculpture after surrealist artist Salvador Dalí (1904-1989) work titled Homage to Philosophy. This bas relief work is rendered in sterling silver and depicts a central female figure seated on a cloud. The sculpture is signed to the lower left corner. The work has been framed behind glass in a silver metal shadow box frame that also has a brown tinted glass backside. Within the frame is also a metal marker reading, ‘Homenaje a la Filosofia’ por Salvador Dalí’. On the reverse is a certificate of ‘uniqueness and authenticity’ detailing this work as specimen number 1118.
