A collection of four framed engravings from La Methode et Invention Nouvelle de Dresser les Chevaux. Taken from William Cavendish book on the history of equestrian dressage, three of the pieces are signed to the plate to the lower right corner, one is signed in plate to the lower left. The engravings are presented under glass, with off-white mats and green-painted edging, in gold-tone wood frames, with hanging wires to the verso.
Condition
- images are acid burned and have minor stains, frames are scratched; images are from a book and there is a seam in the center of each image.
