A group of four hardcover books on Persian history. This set includes a 1971 edition of The Life and Times of Sultān Maḥmūd of Ghazna by Muḥammad Nāẓim, published by Sri Devendra Jain for Munshiram Manoharlal; and a 1963 edition of The Ghaznavids: Their Empire in Afghanistan and Eastern Iran by Clifford Edmund Bosworth, published by Edinburgh University Press. Also included are a pair of books published by Routledge in 2009. These include The Ghaznavid and Seljuk Turks: Poetry as a Source for Iranian History by G. E. Tetley and The Ghazi Sultans and the Frontiers of Islam: A Comparative Study of the Late Medieval and Early Modern Periods by Ali Anooshahr.
