Wedgwood Silver Luster Jug and German Vase
Item Details
A Wedgwood luster jug and a German vase. The Wedgwood jug was produced with two distinct decorative elements used separately in the early nineteen century when the luster technique was first developed. The piece has silver luster decoration as well as relief molding depicting scenes from a hunt. Marks on the underside read ‘Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston and Made in England’. There is an ornate German pitcher included that was produced in the early 1900’s and is ofter referred to as ‘Grandma wares’.
Condition
- vase has a piece a missing from one handle as well as repair on the foot.
