Titled The Auction Sale to the lower center, the painting is signed by the artist to the lower right and is dated ‘8-12-85’ to the lower left. Presented unframed, the painting features hanging hardware to its verso. A member of the Old Order Mennonite Church, Schrock lived in the Goshen, Nappanee area of Indiana.
