Sevres Style French Porcelain Jewelry Casket
Item Details
A french scene decorated jewelry casket. The decoration on the lid of the box depicts ladies being entertained by a musician. The piece has gilt brass mountings and hand painted flowers on the interior. The box has been embellished with tooled gilding on a hard paste porcelain body with a blue ground. The casket is marked on the underside with a printed unidentified mark reminiscent of Sevres and likely the work of anoher porcelain factory.

- metal rim has slight damage.
