A framed artist’s proof offset lithograph after a work titled Assault and Battery by Lee Dubin, most known for her charismatic paintings of Victorian life. It features two men and a female stenographer in a Victorian law office. This piece is hand signed in pencil by Lee Dubin to the lower right, numbered AP 50/75 in pencil to the lower left and signed in plate to the lower left. It is set in a linen mat and presents under glass in a light wood frame with a wire on the verso for mounting.
Condition
Linen matting shows stains and wear. Frame shows light wear, backing paper shows stains and wear. Age consistent.
