Dry Sink Maple Cabinet

A dry sink cabinet. This vintage dry sink was common before the invention of indoor plumbing. It consists of a cabinet with a slightly recessed top made to hold a basin and pitcher for water. The sinks are commonly used today as bar or liquor cabinets. This piece, crafted in maple with dark brown gloss finish, consists of an oblong top recessed top, with a two door cabinet beneath which opens to reveal shelving. The doors feature a rim latch closure system in an ornate design.
