Early 20th Century Mission Oak Armchair

Item Details

An early 20th century Mission oak armchair. The dark-stained frame features a straight crest above four vertical slats and a black leather seat. The open arms continue to a straight seat rail and the chair rises on square, tapered front legs joined by a box stretcher. The underside retains a partial label reading ‘…edge Cha / …ge, Mic’, possibly for the Grand Ledge Chair Company in Michigan.
