An example of early transitional style; a quarter sawn oak sideboard with mirror back and original cast brass hardware. The item features two small drawers; one large drawer and a two door cupboard. The cupboard doors and pediment have a quarter sawn oak veneer with machine cut dovetail joined drawers. The buffet is intricately carved in regal designs featuring a carved floral accent to the top, side pillars and paw feet.
