A large handwoven Tabriz style wool carpet in blues, reds, greens and cream. The carpet has a vibrant carnelian red field, having an overall pattern of indigo, green, and ivory floral sprays in arabesque patterns throughout. The rug has a Rhodian border with lotus blossoms and poppies on an indigo ground. The rug is hand knotted. Unmarked.
