1950s Ink Blotters Featuring Al Buell Pinup Art
Item Details
A group of 13 vintage 1940s and 50s ink blotter cards, featuring offset lithographic reproduced images after the artwork of well-listed artist Al Buell (1910 – 1996) , depicting pinup girls, each accompanied by a curious quote or name. Printed text to the right of the images includes a calendar for various months of the year on some, and an advertisement for industrial equipment. These ink blotters are unused.
Condition
- to fair. Condition consistent with age. Blotters are unused, but have normal age discoloration and wear around edges and corners.
