1921 Morgan Silver Dollars

A small group of 1921 Morgan dollars. Originally minted from 1878-1904 with a brief revival in 1921, the Morgan dollar coins are composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. The obverse features a bust in profile of Lady Liberty and the reverse depicts an eagle with outstretched wings. The coin was designed by George T. Morgan (English, 1845-1925), an engraver for the United States Mint. The coins are dated 1921 and lack mint mark,s indicating they were minted in Philadelphia. The diameter is 38.1 mm and the weight is 26.73 g. (each).
