Antique Mantel Clock
Item Details
An antique mantel clock. A mahogany glass front case encompasses the clock. The bottom section is decorated with a reverse glass painted scene of a secluded church and cloister. The two buildings are nestled in a lush green field. The face of the clock is metal which has been painted white with black roman numerals and hands. Between the hours of 1-2, 4-5. 7-8 and 9-10 is a blue decoration which has been stamped. The clock has a replacement key which causes the movements to wind, but they do not work. The clock was obtained from the warehouse of Woodford Spears & Sons in Paris, Kentucky. Follow the link to see photos of this historic location.
