German Advertisements for Poster Exhibitons
Item Details
A pair of lithographic advertisements for Poster Exhibitions. One features a reproduction of the famous ‘I Want You’ Uncle Sam recruitment poster, surrounded by the words ‘Amerikanische Kriegs: Plakat Propaganda Dortrag Des U.d.R Ortsgruppe Köln’ (American War: Poster Propaganda of the District of Cologne). The other reproduces a poster for ‘HFW’, and includes a printed advertisement for the Exhibition at the Spring/Summer festival in Leipzig. These works are presented unframed and unmounted.
