An oil painting on unstretched canvas of an abstract scene by listed American artist Ricardo Morin (Venezuela, b. 1954), executed in 2008. To the verso, the item is signed and dated by the artist in black ink. Presented unstretched and unframed.
Morin immigrated to the United States from Venezuela in 1972. Based in New York and New Jersey, Morin received his B.F.A. at the State University of New York at Buffalo and his M.F.A. at Yale University. His work has been exhibited at multiple institutions including the Bronx Museum of the Arts; the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, New York; the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts in Brooklyn, New York; and many others.
