Circa 1905 Théodore Haviland and Thomas Porcelain Set
Item Details
A collection of circa 1905 porcelain by Théodore Haviland and Thomas. This twenty-nine piece set is embellished with gold enameled borders decorated with foliate designs. The set includes eight Haviland cups, two Thomas cups, nine Haviland saucers, one Thomas saucer, a pair of Thomas oval serving platters in different sizes, three Thomas bread and butter plates, a Thomas lidded sugar bowl, and a Thomas creamer. These pieces are marked ‘Théodore Haviland / Limoges France’ or ‘Thomas Bavaria.’ Also included are a clear glass bowl and bread and butter plate with a similar gold enameled border.
Condition
- light wear to gilt decoration; a few small stains.
Dimensions
- measures larger oval serving platter; each saucer measures 5.5" in diameter.
