Vintage Chinese Export Ware Trinket Dish

A vintage Chinese export ware trinket dish. The piece is marked on the bottom ’Yong sheng tang zhi” (永勝堂製), which has been identified by some scholars as the hallmark of the Yongsheng (Eternal Victory) Ornamented Porcelain Factory (永勝彩瓷廠), which started to produce wares in the early Republic (1912-1949) in Hong Kong, and possibly mainland China as well. The piece has a red and white foliate and cherub pattern to the surface and is marked to the underside.
