A Japanese step-tansu chest cabinet. The cabinet is comprised of elm wood in a dark mahogany finish, featuring an asymmetrical configuration of multiple double sided drawers and sliding doors, fitted with matte black metal hardware. The unit disassembles into four pieces, having two stepped units, a rectangular chest and a separate plinth base. Unmarked by the manufacturer.
