A printed copy of Max Ehrmann’s poem Desiderata. The item is a copy of the prose poem written in 1927 by the American writer. This copy of the poem comes from a compilation of devotional materials assembled in 1956 by the Reverend Frederick Kates for his congregation at Old Saint Paul’s church. The date 1692 at the bottom is a reference to the founding date of the church.

- foxing over paper. Edges have small tears, paper has been stapled.
