Original Milton Glaser 1966 Bob Dylan Slip Cover Poster

An original 1966 offset lithograph poster designed by very well-listed American graphic designer Milton Glaser (born 1929), created as the slip cover for Bob Dylan’s The Greatest Hits album. This is the original first printing that was included with the LP. The poster depicts a bright stylized portrait of Dylan in profile, an image that has become iconic in music and art history. Without matting, printed text reading ‘DYLAN’ occupies lower right, but is presently concealed by the maroon double matting. The poster is protected behind glass and mounted in a matte black metal frame.
Condition
Fair – light discoloration across poster. Creases from original tri-folding with LP cover. Printed text “Dylan” is concealed by mat.
