A lithograph by Raphael Soyer(1899- 1987). The print depicts a girl sitting on a bed braiding her long dark hair. Her reflection can be seen in the mirror behind her. The drawing is signed at the lower right corner. It is presented with a light brown mat in a dark brown wood frame. A saw-tooth hanger is affixed to the back of the frame.

Raphael Soyer was a Russian-born American painter, draftsman and printmaker. His work was part of the Social Realism movement, portraying people engaged in ordinary activities on the streets or in public and private spaces.

- chip in left hand corner of frame. Minor chips to paint.
