A set of four antique hardcover volumes of the fiction of Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr., one of the ‘Fireside Poets’ of New England. Titles include his best-known work, The Autocrat of the Breakfast-Table (1889), along with two other titles in the series, The Poet at the Breakfast-Table (1914), The Professor at the Breakfast-Table (1890), as well as Over the Teacups (1891). Published by Houghton-Mifflin of Boston and New York, with marbled covers with partial leather veneers.
