1930s Games Including Early Versions of Chinese Checkers

A collection of 1930s-era games, including two early American versions of Chinese checkers. Despite its name, this marble jump strategy game was invented in Germany in 1892, and was introduced to the United States in 1928 by the Pressman company, under the name Hop Ching. This collection includes a wooden Pressman Hop Ching board with red decoration, as well as a Berry Pink Chinko Checko Marblo game in the original box with marbles. This collection also includes playing cards in a case and a 1933 booklet of Selected Patience Games (i.e., solitaire games).
