A graphite drawing on paper titled The American Fall from Luona Island by listed American artist Charles Brownell (1822-1909), created in 1851. The drawing depicts a large waterfall with a line of pine trees to the background. Signed by the artist to the lower right corner with the initials ‘CDB’ and titled to the upper center ‘The American Fall, from Luona Island.’ Gallery label on verso includes ‘Borghi Fine Art Gallery’ and ‘Kennedy Galleries, Inc.’ A catalog from the Hirschl & Adler Galleries exhibition is included. Presented behind glass, housed in a wood frame with a white mat.
