A signed artist’s proof serigraph circa 1976, by contemporary American painter and sculptor, Pierre Clerk (b.1928). Clerk is best known for his unique works that feature strong geometrical forms, often straying from the current trends in contemporary art during his time. This serigraph features abstract linear and curved designs in shades of red, black, and white. This piece is pencil signed and dated by the artist in the lower right margin and is marked ’Artist’s Proof’ in the lower left corner. The print has a single white mat and is housed behind plexiglass in a simple metal frame with a wire for hanging to the verso.
