An original gouache folk painting on paper, signed to the lower right in pencil and black paint by artist E. G. Kaufmann, dated 1968. The image depicts a tribal celebration in which men and women sing, dance, and play instruments, while some carry bountiful baskets of fruit, vegetables and water. The painting is mounted behind off-white mat, under glass in a simple wood frame with a natural stained finish.

Condition

- some areas of notable paint loss throughout composition. Discoloration to mat. Finish of frame is lightly worn.
