A watercolor painting on paper titled St. Raphael, Fregils in the Distance by listed American watercolorist Charles DeWolf Brownell (1822-1909), dated circa 1873. The painting depicts a landscape of St. Raphael with rolling mountains in the background and a body of water to the left. This watercolor is unsigned. Gallery labels on verso include ‘Borghi Fine Art Gallery’ and ‘Kennedy Galleries’ while accompanied by a catalog from the Hirschl & Adler Gallery exhibition. Presented behind glass in a gilt frame with white matting.
