African Fang Guardian Sculpture

A tall African guardian sculpture made by the Fang tribe in Cameroon or Gabon. This roughly carved figure has short balls of hair, thick arms, and wears a sarong and sandals. The sculpture stands on a wooden plank. These guardian statues were sculpted to protect ancestral relics and also protect to people from ancestral spirits.
