Pacific Northwest Coast Carved Mask

Item Details

A large bird form mask carved by the indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest Coast. The green painted mask features a massive upward pointing beak shown slightly ajar. The eye is painted in red and yellow pigments. The design is finished with braided twine hair and a braided crest detailing down the beak. The mask floats on top of a small wood plinth with a single rod.
