A handwoven Tabatabai Tabriz style accent rug. This wool rug features a classic Tabrizi scene with a pair of running deer at one end of the field and four birds at the other, amid palmettes and foliage over an ivory field. The palette is ivory, taupe, coffee, sage, burnt sienna, cream, coral, aqua, and shades of blue. The rug has tan, knotted fringe at either end. It is unmarked. A similar piece is offered in lot 17SWF006-073.
