Item Details

A handwoven tribal kilim. This wool rug features three large stylized scorpion figures, two black and one gray, over an abrashed red field, which is framed by a crenelated minor border and a major border featuring a running dog pattern. The palette is red, brown, gray, cornsilk, black, violet-blue, and pink. The kilim has tan wool fringe, which is knotted and much longer at one end than the other. It is unmarked.
