1970 Aldo Mari "Capanni e Pescatori" Oil on Canvas
Item Details
An original oil on canvas painting from 1970 titled Capanni e Pescatori (Cottages and Fishermen) by listed Italian artist Aldo Mari (1913-1988). The work depicts two men working on nets on a dock, while in the background a boat is moored to a pier and scattered buildings stand near the water. The artist used a palette of blue, brown, green and tan. The signature ‘A. Mari’ is to the lower left corner. The work is housed in a gold tone and brown wooden frame and bordered with a beige linen liner. The Gallery Art + Art Miami sticker on the verso has the title and date 1970 with the artist, title and size information. A metal tab is attached for hanging.

- foxing to linen liner and back of canvas; wear to finish of frame.
