Antique Bernhardt China Cabinet
Item Details
An antique Bernhardt breakfront china cabinet. Mahogany cabinet features a rich stain, a slight step back design, swan neck bonnet with urn and flame finial, glass front cabinet top with wide cabinet door, bottom portion of cabinet with three drawers and two cabinets, and large bracket feet. Top portion of cabinet has three shelves to interior, glass panels flanking cabinet door, light to inside top of glass cabinet, and a catch to large glass door. Bottom portion of cabinet has three dovetail constructed drawers with metal pulls, Greek key design to top, generous acanthus leaf carvings to side rails, and cabinets flanking either side (each with shelf to interior). Marked Bernhardt Furniture Company on sticker to back of cabinet. Circa 20th century. Marked to back ‘Lot No 855, Pat No 868’.
Condition
