An original impasto oil painting on composite board signed to the lower right in dark blue paint by artist Juan Vegas. The image depicts a dark blue, monochromatic nighttime scene of a distant cityscape perched high on a mountain, overlooking a vast valley bisected by a river. Below, a large aqueduct bridge provides transportation over the water. This painting is mounted in a simple wood frame with a distressed gilt finish. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.

Condition

- accretion on painting and frame. Minor paint loss in a few areas across painting.Finish of frame is intentionally distressed, with additional wear around corners.
