An original 1966 vintage oil painting on board by 20th century Cincinnati artist Estelle Laibson. The painting depicts an abstracted composition made of warm fields of yellow, pink, orange, red, black, brown and gray paint. The painting is signed and dated to the lower right. It is also signed ‘Estelle,’ the artist’s first name, in graphite to the verso. The painting is presented in a wooden slat-style frame with gilt finish. Laibson generally creates figural work, making this abstract piece a unique part of her body of work. Laibson has shown work in many group and one-woman shows, and has work housed in permanent collections across the nation.

- light scratching to piece, including one long scratch to lower right of painting to field of black ink.
