An oil painting on canvas of a picnic scene. The painting depicts two female figures and one male figure sitting on the ground with a picnic spread in front of them on a blanket. They are framed by trees on either side and a stream of water behind them. The work is rendered in vibrant colors, thick impasto, and gestural brushstrokes that suppress detail in the composition. No signature, title, or date was found on the work. A framer’s label is adhered to the verso.
