Chinese Ceramic Vase with Playing Boys

A Chinese ceramic urn decorated with several young boys frolicking. The urn is decorated in a field of black with white scroll work and colorful medallions. Several young boys are depicted frolicking and joyfully playing around the vase. The underside is marked with a six-character Tongzhi reign mark. The vase likely dates from the Tongzhi reign or the late 19th century.
