Peter Blake "P is For Pachyderm" Limited Edition Serigraph

A signed limited edition serigraph titled P is For Pachyderm from the ‘Alphabet’ series circa 1981, by English pop-artist, Sir Peter Thomas Blake (b. 1932). Blake is best known for co-creating the iconic album cover for The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band lp. This piece is pencil signed by the artist in the lower right margin and is numbered 80 out of an edition of 95 to the lower left with the title written in the center. The print has a single white mat and is housed behind plexiglass in a simple metal frame with a wire for hanging to the verso.

This sale features several other similar pieces by the same artist, including 17CIN033-046 and 17CIN033-047.

Condition

Minor scratches to plexiglass and frame. Missing glass in frame. Black scuffing to mat and print throughout.
