A signed original pastel drawing titled ‘River A.M.’ by American artist William Clutz (b. 1933). Clutz is best known for the revival of figural representation through the 1940s and 1950s. His work most often features urban street scenes with a striking ability to depict light. This piece is pencil signed by the artist to the lower right margin. The print is housed in a simple large wooden frame with a wire for hanging to the verso.

Condition

Minor scratches to plexiglass and frame. Frame is missing glass. Frame is upside-down according to the orientation of the artwork and the wire to the verso. Print is not attached to matt at base.
