An offset lithograph after an original hand-colored etching titled The Comical Hotch-Potch or The Alphabet Turn’d Posture-Master. This print, originally created in 1782 and sold by Carington Bowels, depicts the letters of the alphabet created with human forms, with the exception of the letter J. Each letter is brightly colored, with a short diddy about the letters printed beneath each one. Mounted beneath a layer of forest green matting, this print is presented behind glass in a dark wood frame with gilt interior accent border and hanging wire present to verso.
