Japanese Ceramic Detective Decanter and Matching Cup
Item Details
A Japanese ceramic decanter shaped like a detective and a matching cup. This decanter is shaped like a man in a brown trench coat and hat, with a bush mustache, and a powder horn in one hand, and hand lantern in the other. His head is the stopper, which has a cork bottom. The matching cup is brown, and has an applied design of the same detective in profile. Both pieces are marked ‘Japan’.
Condition
- some light wear on the underside of both.
