A signed limited edition offset lithograph after the original mixed media watercolor illustration by well-listed American fantasy illustrator Frank Frazetta (New York/Florida; 1928 – 2010), titled Golden Girl, released in 1970. The image depicts a nude femme fatale, reclining impassively on a grassy hill, accompanied by a black panther and three wolves with glowing eyes. Artist signature and date are printed in plate to the lower right center, artist signature hand-signed in pencil to the lower right margin. The print is numbered 1295 in an edition of 2000 in pencil to the lower left margin, mounted behind green and cream double mat, under glass in a rounded wood frame with a gold tone finish and a hanging wire. Additional information about the artist is attached to the verso. A gilt Closson Cincinnati gallery sticker is superimposed to the verso, not original to the piece.
Condition
- discoloration to interior edges of mats. Accretion on and under glass, on frame. Finish of frame is worn. Print is not mounted securely within frame.
